Orienteering Competition at the Institute of Chemistry Summer Days

Mare Oja and Sulev Sild represented the chair in one of the participating teams at the orienteering competition held during the Summer Days of the Department of Chemistry and won first place.
The Summer Days of the Institute of Chemistry took place in Kubija, on August 26–27. One highlight was an orienteering competition that tested both body and mind. At each checkpoint, participants completed a variety of tasks requiring logical thinking and knowledge of chemistry. Challenges included a Skyscrapers puzzle, assembling a mortar from separate pieces, a chemistry-themed game of Alias, a titration task, and identifying laboratory equipment hidden in a picture puzzle. The orienteering competition was won by the four-member team “Üükakk”, two representatives of our group, Sulev and Mare, were among the winners.
